Rare Square Bronze Mirror

A rare square bronze mirror decorated with four chimera beasts, their heads turned back as they each pose in a similarly stylized manner against a grid-and-scroll decorated ground. The central raised and pierced nub is contained within a four-petaled lotus form.
From China’s Warring States era.
