Pregnant Woman

An unusual wood sculpture of a standing pregnant woman. She is naked, has a tab-beard of authority and hair in locks falling to her shoulders. She has her hands over her belly and a bowl is on top of her head. Carved from dense hard wood, the surface rubbed and lustrous from use and from repeated offerings.
