An excellent high relief composition from the base of a major sculpture, depicting a well-formed and complete elephant facing a seated lion (also complete). Another lion around the left side snarls. Originally part of a base with HS05.
From the Kushan era, Mathura region, Central India, circa 3rd century AD.
